Throwing and Catching in Nursery B
Today we have been practising throwing and catching skills with a bean bag. We moved the bean bag around our bodies, passed it from one hand to the other and then threw the bean bag up in the air catching it with both hands. We also used hoops to practise throwing into a target. Well done children…

Following on from our story ‘Toys in Space’ the children had a party with their own toys from home. We had lots of yummy party food and dancing. We will then be able to write our own diary entry.
Science- Plants and Animals in our Environment
We explored the area outside the classrooms for plants. We used magnifying glasses to look carefully at the plants’ features.

Dinosaur Footprints in Nursery B
This week the children are exploring colour and colour mixing using paints and dinosaurs to create footprint patterns. When they have finished their patterns, they are bathing the dinosaurs in warm soapy water.
