Social Signature Meeting with Dr Pete Hawkin
Ten School Councillors from Year 3 to Year 5 met with Dr Peter Hawkins of the Windmills Foundation on Wednesday 15th May to plan and discuss how we could implement Social Signature, the Power of Me into a new form of school reward to replace the traditional Star of the Week reward from September 2024.
What is it?

Social Signature is shaped by how we live our lives: the choices we make, the values we uphold, the actions we take, the barriers we overcome and master and the relationships we build during our lifetime. We have already been working STRAND Partnership schools and Dr Peter Hawkin to co-create a poster which has pride of place within our school hall.
What was discussed?
The meeting was really positive with many great ideas from the children along with suggestions of how we might track the Social Signature as the children progress through school. Watch this space for more developments and exciting news ahead of September when we hope to launch our brand new reward system aligned with Social Signature.
