Reception Curriculum Map
Reading
Please try and read with your child every night for 5-10 minutes. Really focus on asking questions about their book as this will help them with their reading comprehension.
Finally, if there are any questions or concerns please feel free to speak to any of us before or after the school day.

Writing special messages in RE
As part of our work in RE, we have been talking about loving our neighbour and how we can show love to one another. We wrote special messages to one another and put them in the post box to send.
Architects of the Future
These girls have spent a good part of their afternoon working together to build a camper van. They are going to travel around Australia it visiting lots of places!
Underwater Sea Creatures
As part of our work on our book ‘The Pirates Are Coming’ the children were tasked with investigating their favourite sea creature and telling us all a bout it. They could draw pictures, make models - anything they chose. Look at the amazing creations they have made. We are so proud of them.…
