Y2 are learning how to over stitch to make a felt house with a window and door.

Y1 and Y2 came together this morning to celebrate their Harvest festival. Many thanks to all the families who have donated food to Seaforth Mission.

James from Active Sefton visited Year 2 today. He talked about the importance of healthy eating and we watched him make a smoothie, which we were then able to taste. It contained a variety of delicious

The children used counters and tens frames to make number bonds to ten.

Children made a patchwork quilt out of wrapping paper.

The children learnt about the importance of hygiene in order to keep healthy and then they carried out an investigation to show the effect of soap on germs.

Children explored different ways of jumping over a range  of equipment. 

The children enjoyed taking a virtual tour of the International Space Station on their Chromebooks.

The children learnt about the importance of exercise, how it benefits our bodies and how it can make us feel.

The children have been using concrete apparatus to help them find different combinations of tens and ones to make a given number.

After reading God’s Rainbow we thought about all our actions that harm God’s world. We talked about how we can turn over a new leaf and put them right. 

Y2 enjoyed making puppets and retelling the story of Noah and his Ark.
