Maths Scavenger Hunt
Taking a break from our revision, Y6 took their maths learning onto the field. The children worked in small groups to hunt down the different clues around the field. Each answer would lead them to another clue which they needed to find. It was a race against time to solve all 20 clues!

Year 6 Netball
Well done to our Year 6 netball team for competing in the South Sefton Netball League. The girls made fantastic progress throughout the year and enjoyed playing competitively.

After a busy (and rather wet) day developing new skills, the children were able to end their evening with a traditional bonfire.

Staying Safe Online
Today in computing, we discussed the pros and cons of being online. We then looked through some scenarios and discussed how this would make us feel. We designed a poster for younger children to help them know what they can do to stay safe online.

Field Logs
Dust off your trekking shoes because Year 6 are taking you on a science expedition to the Galapagos Islands. Here we will take vital notes on two species endemic to the Galapagos: the marine iguana and the famous mangrove trees.
Safer Internet Day 2025
Today, we celebrated Safer Internet Day by having two assemblies led by our Childnet Digital Leaders group from Year 5 & 6 with a special guest support from Kirsty Carter, part of Merseyside Police's Cyber Crime team.

Year 6 Sportshall Athletics
Well done to our Year 6 children who took part in the South Sefton Sporthall Athletics today. They all gave 100% effort in the different track and field events, showing positive attitudes and encouraging one another.

What’s better than one gingerbread house? How about, thirty?
Today, the children in Year 6 brought in their very own gingerbread house kits. After reading through the instructions, they worked in groups to construct and then decorate their kits.
