On Thursday 25th January, three pupils Mrs Bowden and Mr Dinsdale met up with Pete Hawkin and children and staff from Princes Primary School for a very special visit - to meet His Royal Highness, Prince William in Toxteth in Liverpool!
The three children Daisy, Anna-Rae and Jacob from Y5 & Y6 were very excited and given the chance to speak to the Prince about the work we have completed as part of the Social Signature project.
They presented the Prince with a framed Social Signature poster as well as three cards, one for each of the Prince's children which had a SMILE challenge and a £10 note inside.
Prince William was so friendly and made jokes about how cold it was in Liverpool and when Daisy told the Prince we had completed a fun run for the bleed kits, running 26 miles, he couldn't believe it!
We hope to hear back from Prince William and his children if they complete the SMILE challenge in the future, so watch this space!
