It has been a busy first day for 5A.

Arriving just after lunchtime, the children went straight into their first activity taking on the different obstacles in the woods including the zip line.

After that, we went inside to have a go at curling. It was great to see how quickly the children picked up the activity.

Following the tournament, the children found out who they were rooming with and made their beds. Although there were some struggles, every child successfully completed the task.

After a delicious dinner, we explored the grounds of CHET during the night walk. The children learned about the history or the area and some of the wildlife and trees they would expect to find.

We finished the day with a cup of hot chocolate and a story. We even managed to celebrate a birthday, What a way to spend your birthday with your friends!

It’s off to bed now ready to rest up for another fun filled day of activities.
