Making Sandwiches in Nursery
This week the children have been listening to and following instructions to make sandwiches. They chose their fillings and talked about where our foods come from. Their spreading and cutting skills are certainly improving!
Nursery B at the Beach
This week we have started reading ‘The Sea Saw’ by Tom Percival. The children then wanted to visit the beach so we added water to our sandpit and the children were able to dig, build and have fun with their friends.

Self service snack time
Our snack table is always a favourite area of nursery. We encourage independence by children choosing their own healthy snack, taking it to a table to eat, chatting to their friends and adults in nursery and washing up their own dishes afterwards.
Creating and making using natural materials

Throwing and Catching in Nursery B
Today we have been practising throwing and catching skills with a bean bag. We moved the bean bag around our bodies, passed it from one hand to the other and then threw the bean bag up in the air catching it with both hands. We also used hoops to practise throwing into a target. Well done children…
Dinosaur Footprints in Nursery B
This week the children are exploring colour and colour mixing using paints and dinosaurs to create footprint patterns. When they have finished their patterns, they are bathing the dinosaurs in warm soapy water.
