Year 1- Prayer cards

We have been learning the Hail Mary in Year 1. The children have decorated a prayer card to take home to remind them to pray for Mary.

Meet our School Councillors! 

Our School councillors have been very busy already this term, with three meetings with Mr Dinsdale. So far, they have discussed and voted on the theme for the mufti days (now set out on the school website and calendar) and they have also been discussing the rewards…

In RE we have been thanking God for our wonderful world. This week we went for a walk around our school and talked about what we could see.

The first School Council meeting of 2024-25 took place on Friday afternoon.

Here are some of our nursery children enjoying snack together.  Snack time in nursery invites us to turn take, communicate, listen and sometimes try different foods.  We develop independence by choosing our own snack and by washing up our own plates and cups when we have finished.  

Creation and Covenant

We have been learning about the Creation Story in Year 1. We talked about all the wonderful things God created to make our wonderful world. The children drew all that they love in God’s world.
