Clay Minibeasts in Nursery
The children are continuing to explore with clay. They have all made and painted their favourite minibeasts which we have displayed in our window.
Animal Enclosures
We have been discussing animal enclosures today. What they need for each animal. The children have been very excited to explore in provision by building their own enclosures.
Making Noodle Salad
We had great fun preparing and making noodle salad. We leanred about the importance of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Perfect Pizzas in Nursery
Today the children made their own pizzas with their favourite toppings. Nursery B took their pizzas home to eat for lunch while Nursery A sat in the sunshine and ate theirs for snack.
Nursery Making Sandwiches
This week for snack, the children made their own sandwiches. They practised spreading butter as well as cutting and chopping different fillings. We talked about the colours and flavours of foods and where our foods come from.
Easter Fun in Nursery A & B
This week the children have enjoyed taking part in Easter activities. They have decorated Easter biscuits, painted eggs and been on an Easter hunt.
Nursery A Fruit Kebabs
Fruit kebabs were on the food technology menu this week. The children chopped a variety of fruit and then carefully created their own fruit kebabs.
