Last Thursday, 29th September, was National Teaching Assistant Day. Our Mini Vinnies wanted to celebrate and thank our amazing teaching assistants who are such an important part of our school community.

Our teaching assistants support our children and teachers every single day, sharing their expertise, skills, guidance and above all, their patience, kindness and care. We truly couldn’t do what we do without them.

To show our appreciation, our Mini Vinnies made a special gift for each of our teaching assistants. They created a beautiful bracelet using different coloured beads, with each colour representing a quality they recognise and appreciate in that person and a special handwritten note.

This was a lovely opportunity for our Mini Vinnies to put Catholic Social Teaching into Action. By recognising the gifts, talents and contributions of others, the children showed how we can uphold the dignity of every person, value one another and work together for the common good of our school community.

Thank you to all of our amazing teaching assistants for everything you do for our children and our school.
