Today, we celebrated Safer Internet Day by having two assemblies led by our Childnet Digital Leaders group from Year 5 & 6 with a special guest support from Kirsty Carter, part of Merseyside Police's Cyber Crime team

The theme this year was ‘Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online' The children led the assemblies brilliantly with questions, quizzes and even used a giant dice to help create a strong random password!

A poster competition is being launched over half-term to coincide with this year's Safer Internet Day and there will be a prize for the best KS1 & KS2 poster.

The Digital Leaders will also be running parent workshops after half-term for parents to gain a certificate in Online Safety with Mr Roach, so look out for more information on this coming soon!
