Y2 had a great fun taking part in our school Santa Dash

The children explored using vaults, the climbing frame and the ropes.

The children used a range of skills like slicing, chopping, grating and creating ribbons to create a colourful vegetable and pasta layered salad.

Using base ten to solve subtraction questions.

As part of our RE topic ‘Prophecy and Promise’, the children listened to the story of The Annunciation and then worked in pairs to role play it.

The children used paint to mark make in response to music.

The children worked in pairs to add two 2- digit numbers (not across a ten). They were given the opportunity to use concrete resources to help them solve the calculations.

The children enjoyed exploring  and practising a range of rolls during their lesson led by Emily from Beth Tweddle Gymnastics.

The children enjoyed sharing books with their friends or by themself.

In Science we talked about the life cycle of a chicken and the different stages involved. The children worked in small groups to sequence pictures and write about each stage.

The children explored painting using natural objects.
