This half term we are reading 'Supertato' by Sue Hendra. This week the children received a letter from the Chilly Peas asking for their help. The children were given a selection of tools including hammers, tweezers, pliers and scissors, to help free the frozen peas from the ice. They used their problem solving skills to free as many peas as possible. During the activity the children talked about what they were doing and what they could see happening. "I'm using the hammer to break the ice." "The ice is melting." "The peas are free!"
