Collective worship reflective colouring
The children enjoyed their daily collective worship today by gathering together and taking part in tactile prayer. Tactile prayer such as gentle colouring has a soothing quality that promotes a sense of stillness, creating the conditions for a more reflective and receptive prayer experience. Our theme this week ‘Gathered in His Name’ allowed the children to consider how working together makes us stronger and more effective. As we prayed the children reflected on the opportunity to invite Jesus to be with them as they work, learn, pray, grow and live out their Christian mission in school.
