In our topic of rocks we have been learning about soil and what it is made from. We had great fun examining samples from our school field. 

In this term we have been learning about different painting techniques and blending colours. 

We have been working on our fore hand tennis skills.

We have been looking at division. To show how this works we used counters to illustrate how it looks.

We have started our dance unit of work called machines. It’s been great fun so far and we have created some amazing routines.

We have been learning about Louise Bourgeios and her fantastic sculptures. Our work will be finished next week when we paint them. We will hold an exhibition of our work for you all to enjoy.

We enjoyed improving our basic skills in the sunshine.

We have been collecting natural things to use in our sculptures next week. We are looking at the artist Louise Bourgeois.

As part of our science topic we have been investigating light. We made different shapes with our shadows and will be making a shadow theatre next week. Watch this space.

This week we worked on our vaulting. It was so much fun.

Our vegetable noodles were so good. We are making stuffed peppers next week.

We had great fun making vegetable noodles with a lime and sweet soy dressing.
