Today, we were lucky enough to have visitors from Liverpool Hope University.

They worked alongside the children in small groups exploring a range of questions surrounding Earth and space.

In DT, the children enjoyed making flatbreads.

They worked in small groups to mix their ingredients together and used rolling pins to shape their flatbreads.

The children have been learning about how search engines work.

In groups, they explored the playground in order to gather information about a range of books and work in a similar way to a search engine. 

Nikita Prothero, who plays for Sale Sharks Rugby, visited the school to work with Y3-Y6 girls and promote rugby in schools.

The girls had an excellent time being introduced to rugby through a range of different games and it was amazing how quickly they picked it up.

The children created their own graphic novels. They decided their characters and where it would take place. The children enjoyed being creative and having the opportunity to create their own original story.

Today we mapped out in pairs the sequence of events from Annie getting into the barrel to the moment she reached the edge of the falls.
