As part of our topic work on Desert to Garden, today we talked about, and made a Lenten Promise.  We discussed how spring is a special time for growing and that Lent is also a special time to grow. To grow as a person and be more like Jesus.  The children talked about how they could grow during Lent and we agreed that we could help more, care more, share more and love more.  The children then wrote their own Lenten Promise on a heart and added it to our prayer tree.
