We have been reading the beginning of The Christmas Story when Angel Gabriel told Mary she was going to have a baby and his name would be Jesus. The children have re-enacted the story and talked about how Mary may have felt. This week we talked about the meaning of love and created ‘hanging hearts’ using different patterned fabric. The children have begun to get the crib ready for Jesus’s birth and placed their hanging hearts in the crib.
