Year 1 Gymnastics
Today the children have been learning to do handstands, headstands, different shapes and rolls. We had a fantastic PE lesson learning lots of new skills.
Sports Day
The children had a fantastic time taking part in a range of activities.

Year 3 Sport's Day
We had a fantastic day competing in the sunshine. It was such an exciting sport's day and the children, staff and parents really enjoyed it.
Building in Nursery B
The children have been building together using wood and crates. They were very imaginative creating an obstacle course, a fire truck and then a helicopter. There was lots of balancing, jumping and travelling. Great teamwork!
Reception Sports Day
Reception had a brilliant day competing in our sports day yesterday! We took part in lots of races, obstacle courses and balancing events. Well done to all the children! Pictured is our winning team and fasted boy and girl in Reception!
Tennis
This week we have been focusing on our control of the tennis ball.
We started by playing team games with involved concentrating on keeping the ball on the racquet.
After, we worked on keeping control of the ball when hitting it up and down.
Nursery’s Sports Day
Well done to all the children for taking part in Sports Day today. They all had lots of fun and got involved in different races including egg and spoon, obstacle and relay. You were all little stars!
Year 1- Gymnastics
The children have enjoyed doing gymnastics in PE this week. We have been very lucky to have coaches from Beth Tweedle teaching the children various skills. They have been learning to use the springboard, different types of rolls and balancing on the benches. Well done Year 1!
Orienteering and map reading
This week we have been working in teams using our orienteering course. It was great fun and we will be using it lots more in the future.
Throwing and Catching in Nursery B
Today we have been practising throwing and catching skills with a bean bag. We moved the bean bag around our bodies, passed it from one hand to the other and then threw the bean bag up in the air catching it with both hands. We also used hoops to practise throwing into a target. Well done children…
