In Nursey we have been reading 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' by Eric Carle and learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. The children have used their cutting and sticking skills and a paper plate to show the life cycle of a butterfly. They were able to talk about the different stages and the amazing transformation that takes place. We have been watching our caterpillars harden into a chrysalis and now we are waiting to see what happens next!.
In Maths, the children have been using their counting skills linked to the text choosing fruits to match the number of dots on a plate or dice.
