Year 3 began learning how to play recorder this week. Thanks to Mr Kiggins. The children had great fun.

The children enjoyed playing the ‘bucket ball’ and ‘hit the bucket’ games in PE this afternoon.
Hammers and Nails
Using our fine motor skills we are creating pictures today using Tap Tap Art. We are very careful not to bang our fingers and are enjoying copying the pictures and creating our own!

Year 4 recorder lessons have begun. We are so excited to learn something new. If we can play the recorder, there are so many other instruments that we can learn too!

In today’s Geography lesson we located the four countries of the UK on a map. We also learned about their capital cities.

Year 1 have been learning about the four countries of the UK. We have talked about the different places we may have visited and the capital cities. The children matched the labels and pictures to the map.
Ice Ice Baby
We looked at the hail stones and watched them melt on our hands. ‘They turn to water!’ The children were able to say what the hail was made from and what happened when it touched our warm hands!
